Hörstein, installation with stone, ventilator, white thread, 2016

Drawing for beyond the space, pencil on paper, 29,7 x 42 cm, 2016

In my works, stories are hidden, manifested as a mystery. I project my experiences or my emotions into a space by removing the function of an object in this space, thereby opening another context.

The tendency to reduce, which is to search for the essential, creates a paradox contrasting with my view, “more is better”. As soon as the installation can expand openly as a narrative sphere, communication and participation in the audience arise naturally, leaping over the need to directly impose the message.
