Murmuration

A project about birds in migration, group movement, intuitive movement and imminent reaction.

Murmuration is the name of a huge flock of starlings that migrate together in a synchronized flight, losing their sense of individuality and becoming one single body. This sky dance creates incredible forms and compositions in the open space, every changing pattern becomes a drawing.

My interest lies not only in the collective movement, but in the theme of migration as it is a big and important part of my personal life and history.

My intention is to respond to those movements in a very intuitive way, sometimes following them, sometimes highlighting specific moments, being at the same time very aware of my own body and moves, as in a dance.
